Hiking trails in Piemonte

Directly from Casa Vigna, you can start with several marked hiking routes. The routes vary in length and difficulty. They provide a great impression of the surroundings and Piemonte! You can also download routes to your phone using Komoot or Wikiloc. Below is an overview of the existing routes:

Left Loop

This route starts from the main house, going left uphill, across from the farm, through our vineyards, past a dilapidated ruin, and down a small sheep trail. Then, return along the dirt road to Casa Vigna. Length: approximately 4 km.

Right Loop

Turn right down and then go uphill (steep climb), through meadows and a small hamlet, and then back. A little over 6 kilometers.

Napoleon

Napoleon Bonaparte also passed through this region. The route goes past the monument with a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. You will also pass “our” San Lino church. Total length: 5 kilometers, half of which is paved.

Truffle Path

Through narrow paths and the truffle forest, you will reach Ceva, a beautiful route with spectacular views. Not suitable for those with a fear of heights. Wear proper footwear and avoid going after a rainstorm! Length: 4 km. Follow the signs/arrows and do not cross private land.

Ceva > Home

An alternative to the main road. A quiet route from the village of Ceva, with fewer hairpin turns, back to Casa Vigna. Mostly paved and approximately 4 km (about an hour walk).

Loop 15

A 15-kilometer paved loop, via Roascio through the valley along the river to the village and back home.

River

An idyllic spot by the river where you can swim and enjoy. Length: 2.6 km.

Deserta Langarum

Deserta Langarum: 5 well-marked routes starting from App nei boschi, varying in length from 4 to 16 km through nature. Each color has its own theme. A map is included in the ‘orange map’. You can find the routes here: https://www.desertalangarum.org/sentieri

Enjoy the hikes!
