Nicest small campsite I have experienced so far under Dutch owners. Total peace, quiet and enjoyment in one. It's really wonderful, the crickets sing you to sleep, and otherwise the delicious wines do!4 or 5 spots in the vineyard. Quite a steep road! Makes it exciting after a glass of wine in the village, so to speak. Nothing else complicated, and that's nice.Nice contact with the owners who provide all the service they can.Top campsite!

We received a warm welcome at this mini campsite from the owners. Contact and communication went great! Once we arrived, we were deeply impressed by the beautiful location in the hills, with mountains in the background. It is green, quiet and the atmosphere is super nice. Sanitary facilities are spotless and tidy, and there is an outdoor shower and hammock. A truly fantastic place!

Wow, what a beautiful place to relax. We were lucky enough with our camper to try out two of the four camper spots: the private spot at the bottom and the spot at the top of the vineyard near the sanitary facilities and with an amazing view. This last place is definitely recommended if you have the choice! The campsite has the basic facilities it needs and everything is excellently maintained and clean. There is a lovely hammock in the middle of the vineyard and there is an outdoor shower where you can shower 'with a view'. An extensive breakfast service is also possible and (at the end of August) you could enjoy a rich meal with tomatoes and courgettes from our own garden. The campsite is located 1.5 km from the town of Ceva, which must be traveled by car or electric bicycle. Unless you are not averse to a good climb, because the altitude meters leave nothing to be desired. In terms of nearby cities, Mondovì is also highly recommended. Beautiful town that is wonderful to stroll through. Finally, the campsite owners Ed and Itsje (and dog Willem): what great people. We were warmly welcomed and felt completely at ease from moment one. Never averse to a chat and we could always ask for tips or questions. You definitely wouldn't say this was their first season, because the roleShe is a perfect host and lady! With pain in our hearts we had to say goodbye again after 3 nights, but who knows, we might come back again!

What a wonderful place Casa Vigna is! The owners are incredibly hospitable and helpful and know how to send you to all the nice places in the town of Ceva. Recommended!

Full of anticipation we descend the dusty winding dirt path to reach the vineyard of Casa Vigna. What a gem!A beautifully converted farmhouse withmint green shutters overlooks a cheerfully colored vegetable garden and the vineyard, which gradually slopes down to the green valley. Two tent pitches and two cozy houses dot the vineyard. They also have some camper pitches, which also have beautiful vistas overlooking the mouth of the Italian Alps.We are warmly welcomed by host Ed, who shows us around the estate and guides us to our place. We are at the camper place, where there is room for two small tents. Nice chill spots have been created in the vineyard for a drink or a book with a view. Very atmospheric. We even spotted 2 deer crossing the sandy path. Wow!The estate has basic facilities in the form of two neat showers, toilets and washing up facilities.Ed and Itske are very warm, service-oriented and hospitable. They offer their own wine as a souvenir. An absolute must for anyone who wants to explore authentic Piedmont on a small scale!

Casa Vigna is a very nice, special and cozy place for us. It was hard to leave, even after we had already stayed longer than planned. It feels like a place where time has stood still. It is a gem for nature lovers. Casa Vigna is located in a small valley with alternating forests and meadows with a beautiful path down. From the campsite we quickly saw and heard many (for Dutch) special features. The cooing of turtle doves can be heard all day long. Bee-eaters fly back and forth and breed a short distance away. At dusk the chatter of the nightjar begins and we also saw that on the path. Other nice birds we saw within a few hundred meters of the campsite include: Hoopoe, Red-backed Shrike and Cirl Bunting. There is also a great wealth of plants, butterflies and other insects and much to discover. We were also very happy with the deer that we saw every day. The great desire was to see wild boars. As a parting gift, Itske called us to their house on the last evening, from where we saw them on the hill opposite.Casa Vigna itself is small and beautifully situated. From our tent we had a view over the vineyard, the valley and imposing mountains in the background. Enjoy with the binoculars on the table. The presence of Ed and Itske made our stay even more pleasant. From the casual chats in between to watching the European Championship rounds of the Dutch national team together with all the guests, everything feels cozy and familiar. The passion, enthusiasm, hospitality and friendliness of Ed and Itske are heart-warming.

Fantastic spot in Piedmont! Nice view of the mountains.A warm welcome from Ed and Itske, the new owners of this nice hideaway. We spent 5 wonderful nights on a tent site and slept 1 night in the house. Clean sanitary facilities for camping guests. The house is fully equipped and has a nice, quiet terrace behind the house where you have a great view.Within 1 hour to the beach, nice villages in the area and Ceva close by for groceries and restaurants.Within driving distance of Turin.Highly recommended to visit this beautiful place!!

2024 - Ownership changed. The house in this review can no longer be rented. The review is therefore no longer entirely applicable and we have no experience with the current owner.A very nice place and very good host (and woman of course). Furthermore, a very beautiful area with plenty of options if you want to leave this quiet, wonderful place.Even after a 4th time, this remains a great place to be. Everything fine, clean, well cared for. We are in love with the view.

Good hospitality and everything is provided. A meeting of cordiality, creativity (Jaap solves everything, including souvenirs) and a touch of businesslikeness. The latter is not noticeable but will have to be there to keep the whole (wine and accommodation) profitable. It will be hard work, but the guests won't notice it. One call and Jaap or Astrid are ready for you. The stock of small groceries and the ecologically responsible drinking water supply are a godsend. And of course also our own wines. Everything almost at cost price, so service! One comment is the almost absence of shade on the tent sites. The seasoned camper has solutions for this, but a mention on the website can be of value to new campers. A valuable information book has been created and otherwise Jaap and Astrid will supplement it. Finally: Piedmont is not yet very touristy; here the 'love for Italy' is realized. Almost unspoilt towns and villages. Walks where you won't meet anyone (really!). And one day you don't feel like going out: the grounds of Casa Vigna are a great place to relax! In short: highly recommended!
